Documentary that seeks to explore the intimate life of riverside populations, inhabitants of the islands that surround the city of Belém, in Pará. A portrait composed from the unique reflection of rivers and a robust riparian forest, under the veil of an Amazon in struggle for survival.
The film addresses social and cultural issues, in addition to exposing centuries-old stories and activities of indigenous heritage, which last in the calm life of the interior of Pará. In all its perseverance, riverside life presents a delicate face of the North region, a place lost on the map, which carries the ills of poverty and social oblivion.
