During a delicate moment of her pregnancy, Marta travels with her husband, Raúl, to her in-laws' beach house, seeking to rest and ensure the safety of the pregnancy. He leaves and she is left in the care of Evaldo and Igulina, a distinguished and strange elderly couple.
Marta experiences a crushing weight inside the house, she feels abused, she believes that her in-laws want to steal her baby and she does everything to prevent that from happening.
